Facial balancing refers to the process of using dermal filler to create harmony and balance across your facial features. This could mean subtly enhancing the lips, refining the tip of the nose, strengthening the chin and jawline, or a combination approach to treat multiple areas at once.
Your provider may also utilize neuromodulators like Botox® to relax and enhance specific muscles in the face, or even recommend a fat-dissolving product like Kybella® for under the chin. These subtle tweaks result in utterly natural-looking enhancements. It's you — just the best version of you.

You will see same-day results with most facial balancing treatments. Any swelling settles over the next one to two weeks.
Facial balancing is an extremely tolerable procedure. Your skin will be numbed with a topical numbing cream before treatment, and we also inject the treatment areas with a small amount of lidocaine for maximum comfort.
As with all facial fillers, facial balancing with filler will cause minor to moderate swelling and bruising at the treatment sites. However, it is significantly less swelling and bruising than more invasive surgical options.
Swelling will peak by day 3 post-treatment, and will gradually work itself out of your system within 1-2 weeks. Any bruising should fade within 1-2 weeks and is easily concealed with makeup. You should avoid touching or rubbing the face for the first three days post-treatment. You must also avoid rigorous exercise and hot saunas for the first 24 hours, and we highly recommend sleeping on your back for the first couple of days to allow the filler to fully settle.
The cost of facial balancing will vary from person to person, as each client's needs are unique. Some patients may require a single syringe of dermal filler to achieve full balance, whereas others could require as many as four or five (or a combination of several treatment types). We always recommend scheduling an in-person consult so that your provider can assess your facial features in person and give you the most accurate pricing.
Facial balancing is an extremely safe procedure with a very low risk of complications. It is also significantly safer than invasive surgeries, like cheek and jawline implants or rhinoplasty. This, combined with same-day results with relatively no recovery time, makes it the preferred treatment for many of our clients.
