Most patients require at least three sessions spaced several months apart. The number of injection sessions and the length of time between sessions vary from person to person.
Sculptra® and Renuva® are both biostimulators. This means that they cause our body to regenerate its own tissue (as opposed to, for example, filler, which fills and contours with a gel-like injectable).
However, whereas Sculptra helps your body regenerate collagen, Renuva stimulates fat regeneration to supplement age-related fat pad loss in the skin and neck. Your provider will assess your specific needs at your consultation and recommend the right one for you.

Most clients find Sculptra injections extremely tolerable, with mild discomfort to be expected.
Much like with dermal filler, minor swelling and bruising is normal post-injection, but will subside within about seven days. You can take Arnica supplements the week before and after your appointment to help keep these side effects to a minimum.
Results can last up to two years. The time to your final results is more gradual than with traditional dermal filler, but the results typically last longer.
